4.4 PAY Configuration Enhancements

This release expands PAY Reconciliation Center configuration, improves Auto Pay and Auto ReKey controls, adds scope-management capabilities, and fixes selected PAY and Item Management workflow issues.

Reconciliation Centers now support richer Auto Pay, Auto ReKey, and scope configuration, while several PAY workflow and Item Management fixes improve day-to-day reliability.

Highlights

  • PAY configuration expanded: Reconciliation Centers now support Auto Pay settings, Auto ReKey settings, and clearer, more consistent configuration labels.
  • Scope control improved: Reconciliation Center scope setup now supports Property, Entity, Department, and Supplier targeting with include/exclude behavior.
  • Workflow reliability improved: OCR attachment cleanup, Auto Pay scheduling, and automation error handling were strengthened across PAY flows.
  • Item and UI usability improved: Product copy reliability, new-item dialog sizing, and worksheet/delivery behavior were refined.

Customer Facing Improvements

PAY Reconciliation Center Configuration

  • Added Auto Pay Settings to Reconciliation Center configuration, including enable/disable, batch size, and document finalization wait time.
  • Added Auto Pay scheduling options matching other portals, including Once Daily, Multiple Times, and Process Every X Minutes.
  • Added Auto ReKey Settings with enable/disable support and document finalization wait time behavior.
  • Updated configuration labels for consistency across portals.
  • Removed the old Additional Configuration section and replaced it with focused Auto Pay and Auto ReKey settings.

Reconciliation Center Scope Management

  • Added scope controls for Property, Entity, Department, and Supplier.
  • Added a Global / Scope toggle so centers can either apply broadly or use explicit scoped rules.
  • Added Include / Exclude behavior so scope rules can allow or block specific targets with finer control.
  • Improved scoreboard and grid behavior to align with familiar BUY portal scope-management patterns.

PAY Workflow and Automation

  • Deleting an OCR-driven attachment from Three Way Match now clears OCR-populated invoice number, date, and amount fields when appropriate.
  • Three Way Match now allows deletion handling for OCR’d attachments through status-based behavior instead of failing on foreign-key constraints.
  • Auto Pay now runs on each Reconciliation Center’s own schedule rather than relying only on a single global schedule model.
  • Auto ReKey settings can now be configured per Reconciliation Center, including enablement and delay behavior for all documents.
  • Automation and OCR endpoints now return clearer contextual 4xx and 5xx responses for validation failures and runtime errors.
  • Copy Product now succeeds when the source product contains current or scheduled price rules.
  • RTL and Item Editor New Item dialogs were resized to better match the larger ITM experience.
  • Distribution Center delivery logic was refined for closing inventory documents after delivery, including validation guidance for delivery-enabled workflows.

Operational Notes

  • Reconciliation Centers now carry more of their own automation behavior, so per-center configuration matters more than before.
  • Auto Pay scheduling depends on each center having valid settings such as enablement, schedule type, and batch size.
  • Auto ReKey delays can intentionally hold otherwise ready documents until the configured wait time has elapsed.
  • Scope include/exclude rules affect which documents a Reconciliation Center can act on; exclusions take precedence.
  • Deleting OCR-based attachments preserves audit history while preventing invalid or unwanted OCR data from continuing to drive workflow behavior.
