Generated Cycle Counts
Generated Cycle Counts will select 10 random items from the inventory for counting on the scheduled cycle count days (please consult your Project Manager for setup and changes). Once an item is chosen by the Generated Cycle Counts, it will not be eligible for selection again until the following month.
Generated Cycle Count Email
1. An Email will be sent to notify the Users that a Generated Cycle Count is ready to begin.
Note: If the user did not receive an email, it means the Generated Cycle Count is not yet ready to start.
Start a General Cycle Count
Navigating Physical Inventory
1. Go to “Inventory” on the menu bar, then select “Manage Inventory” and then “Physical Inventory”.
View Physical Inventory
1. View Physical Inventory page columns.
- Department – This is the Inventory Department
- Inventory Name – This is the Name the User created when opening an Inventory
- Administrator – This the User that get assigned as the Administrator when opening an Inventory
- Start Date/Time – This is the Date and Time that the Inventory was opened

Status – This is the status of the Inventory
- Open – The Inventory is Open and ready to count
- Closed – The Inventory is counted and Closed
- Cancelled Inventory – The Inventory is Cancelled
- Counting Inventory – The Inventory is still open but there are Counts saved to the Inventory
- Building Inventory – The Inventory was Open and is Building the Items to the Inventory
- Not Applicable – The Inventory was Cancelled before it was Opened
2. Click “New”.
3. In the Create New Physical Inventory popup, fill out the fields:
- Inventory Name – Create a unique Inventory name for the Inventory
- Department – Choose the Inventory to count
- Administrator – This will auto populate the Users name that is opening the Inventory
- Comments – This is optional and can be notes for the Inventory
- Click “By Product Type”
- Search for the Generated Cycle Count and select it. (Generated Cycle Count Code will be * and the Department Codes.)
4. Click “Open Count”. This will open the a Physical Inventory for the random 10 Items for the day
