The Item Dashboard Tasks scoreboard detail window offers a comprehensive view of the workflow, showing tasks, assigned associates, statuses, priorities, and actions. It streamlines workflow management by providing a clear overview of task progress, making it easier to identify delays or issues that could affect timely completion. Tasks are categorized and can be further specified by type. They can be assigned to oneself or others, and support ongoing conversations, with the ability to be marked as resolved upon completion.

The Item Tasks scoreboard displays the total number of unresolved tasks in the system.

 
 

Task Filter

The Task Filter feature lets users filter tasks by all tasks or unresolved tasks. By default, the scoreboard displays only unresolved tasks.

 
 

Search Here

The Tasks window includes smart contextual searching capabilities in the Search Here field that include:

  • Summary
  • Status
  • Requested By
  • Assigned To
 
 

Details

The Item Tasks detail information bar includes:

  • Summary: Item Number, Task Summary and Status
    • Status: New, Reviewing, In Progress, Resolved, Won't Do, Duplicate, Invalid
  • Type: Task Type selected from dropdown when creating the task
  • Requested: Requestor, Date & Time Created
  • Priority: Task Priority
    • Can be updated directly from the grid.
  • Assigned: Assignee, Date & Time Assigned
  • Actions: Assign Task, Add Comment, View Item

Clicking on the row's summary or type columns will open the edit task form.

 
 

Edit Task

The Edit Task feature enables users to modify existing tasks by clicking on the item row, which will open the edit task form.

  • Once accessed, users will see the Task Title, which includes the task type and product code.
  • The task Status will be displayed next to the summary, enabling users to update the summary as they work on the task.
  • Users can change the Assigned To by selecting from the dropdown menu.  
  • Comments: Users can view the history of previous comments and add new ones as needed.
  • Attachments: Users can view, download or delete existing attachments, or add new ones.

All changes are automatically saved as they are made. 

 
 

Actions: Assign Task

Assign Task: This action allows the user to reassign the task to another individual with ITM Admin/User access from the dropdown menu. It also includes a comment option to add notes regarding the reassignment of the task.

 
 

Actions: Add Comment

Add Comment: The action allows users to quickly add a comment to the task. 

 
 

Actions: View Item 

View Item: The action takes users to the item editor for the item linked to the task.
