WHS Delete Receipt Action

The Delete Receipt feature is now available in the Warehouse portal. This allows users to remove an existing receipt and restart the receiving process from the beginning.

Enabled Delivery

When the Delivery feature is enabled: The Delete Receipt action is available only for receipts with Open status and Awaiting Delivery.

When the Delivery feature is disabled: The Delete Receipt action is available only for receipts with Open status and Completed.

Worksheet Scoreboard 

The Delete Receipt button is only visible when the Receiving Worksheet is opened via the Worksheet Scoreboard.

Delete Receipt

Action Button

The Delete Receipt action opens a dialog with a required comment field where you must enter a reason for the deletion. 

Comments will be available in the audit history.

 
 

Confirmation Prompt

A confirmation prompt will appear with the message:
“Delete Receipt?”

The prompt includes:

  • A Yes/No option to choose your action
  • A confirmation button to finalize your selection

Selection Results:

  • Yes: Confirms and completes the deletion
  • No: Cancels the action and returns you to the worksheet

  1. Click the Delete Receipt action.
  2. In the dialog, select Delete Receipt.
  3. Click Yes in the confirmation popup to complete the process. 

The video also demonstrates how both the Worksheet Scoreboard and the To Receive Scoreboard appear after the receipt is deleted.

 
 

Receiving Worksheet After Deletion

Once a receipt is deleted, the Receiving Worksheet header will show a Deleted work status, and a corresponding deleted transaction status badge will appear on the header.

 
 

Worksheet Scoreboard After Deletion

After a receipt is deleted, the Worksheet Scoreboard shows a Deleted status in both the Work Status and Deliveries columns. If a new receipt is reprocessed, it appears in the Worksheet Scoreboard alongside the deleted receipt.

The Receipt column is hidden by default, but you can add it to the grid to view the receipt number associated with the purchase order, along with its status badge.

 
 

To Receive Scoreboard After Deletion

Selecting Delete will:

  • Move the worksheet back to the To Receive scoreboard.
  • Remove the existing receipt record.
  • Reset the workflow to the initial receiving stage.
