The inventory tab presents essential metrics concerning the inventory item. This area tracks the item's location, monitors balances, records adjustments, pars, and current inventory levels.
Item Header
The item header appears when you access the inventory tab. To make any modifications, return to the profile tab, click the (+) icon to expand the item header, modify the necessary fields, and then select "Save."

Within any scoreboard, users can customize the columns they wish to display based on their preferences. To do so, click the three dots in the detail window, select 'Columns,' choose the desired metrics to display, and then click 'Apply.'
Inventory Control Scoreboard
Scoreboard Display
The inventory control scoreboard displays the number of inventory records for the item.

Add Inventory Control
The Add Inventory Control function is used for the user to create a new inventory record for the item.
Steps to Add Inventory Control
- Click the Add Inventory Control to create a new inventory record for the item. Fill in the required fields including department, area, inventory carry unit, issue unit and replenish cost. (Highlighted in Red)
- After adding the inventory control for the item, a pop-up notification confirms that “the inventory control has been created”.
- Once you refresh the page, the inventory record with the price will be displayed in the current balance window.
Default Carry Cost
You can set a default carrying cost to assign a price to an item in your inventory that has not yet been purchased. Note: If you specify a default carrying cost for the item, this cost will be adjusted as calculated by the system upon purchasing the product.

Action
The “Copy Inventory Record” feature allows the user to quickly add an inventory control into the system with similar details.
Steps to Copy Inventory Control
- Click the Copy Inventory Control action to create a copy.
- Fill in the required fields including department and area. (Highlighted in Red)
- After adding the inventory control for the item, a pop-up notification confirms that “the inventory control has been created”.
Note: The window for copying inventory records allows the user to choose whether they want the pars copied; toggle accordingly between yes and no.

The pars scoreboard displays number of pars linked to the item per department.

The pars information bar includes:

- Max Issue (max amount issued per request)
- Min (Minimum par threshold to avoid falling short of)
- Max (Maximum par threshold to avoid exceeded to prevent overstocking)
- Constant (constant amount on hand)
