Steps for Creating a New Price Adjustment

Step 1: New Price Adjustment

Click “New Price Adjustment”

Step 2: Product Selection

Fill out the commodity required field on the Product Selection window.

  • As more fields are filled out, the price adjustment becomes increasingly specific.

Entering Information into the Fields

If the price adjustment applies to all leave the field blank

If the price adjustment is specific to a field, then select from the dropdown

For example: Select a specific unit for Cigarettes, depending if the price adjustment is for a carton vs pack.

Step 3: Price Adjustment

Fill out the required fields on the Price Selection window:

  • Effective Date (automatically selected as next day); be mindful of the job run.
  • Select an Adjustment Percentage or Dollar Value
  • Adjust From (Current Price, MSRP or Retail Base Price)
  • Rollback To (Current Price, MSRP or Retail Base Price)
  • Rounding (Round the price by 5,10, 50 or 99 cents or the nearest dollar)

Step 4: Preview

In the Preview window review all information, then select “create adjustment”

The number shown on the preview page reflects the total number of prices that will be affected by the adjustment—not the number of items in the commodity.

This count is based on the number of price entries per SKU, meaning if a single product has multiple prices, each one is counted separately.

Step 5: Finished

The price adjustment completion window informs the user about the creation of adjustments and provides totals for errors, warnings, and newly created items.
