The point of sale tab provides real-time metrics and performance insights concerning sales and transactions within the point of sale system.
Item Header
The item header appears when you access the inventory tab. To make any modifications, return to the profile tab, click the (+) icon to expand the item header, modify the necessary fields, and then select "Save."
Column Customization
Column Customization
Within any scoreboard, users can customize the columns they wish to display based on their preferences. To do so, click the three dots in the detail window, select 'Columns,' choose the desired metrics to display, and then click 'Apply.'
SKUs Scoreboard
Scoreboard Display
The SKUs scoreboard displays the number of SKUs related to the item.

Add New SKU
The Add New Sku function is used for the user to add a sku associated to the item.
Steps to Add New SKU
- Click the Add New SKU.
- Fill in the required fields: POS Systems & Unit. (Highlighted in Red)
- Select SAVE.
- Once the process is completed, the user will receive a completion notification stating “The Item SKU has been created”
NOTE: Users have the ability to assign multiple SKUs to each item across all applicable Point of Sale systems and associated units.
Map Existing SKU
Use the Map Existing SKU dropdown to link a POS SKU to the RedRock item number.

- Select the Map Existing SKU dropdown
- Add the POS SKU
- Select Save

Actions
There are 3 actions displayed in the SKU scoreboard. When a SKU is deleted, it enters a deleted status but remains visible on the scoreboard for historical reference. The Delete SKU action is then replaced with Restore SKU, granting users the ability to restore the SKU.

Delete SKU
The Delete action allows the user to quickly remove the SKU.
Restore SKU
The Restore action enables the user to recover a previously deleted SKU.
Print Label
The Print Label action allows users to print the retail label and includes a preview option before printing. Additionally, users can set a print default for the retail item label.
UPCs Scoreboard

The UPC scoreboard displays the number of UPCs related to the item.

Add New UPC
The Add New UPC function is used for the user to create a UPC associated to the item.
Steps to Add New UPC
- Click the Add New UPC.
- Fill in the required fields: UPC & Unit of Measurement. (Highlighted in Red)
- Select CREATE.
- Once the process is completed, the user will receive a completion notification stating “The UPC has been created”
NOTE: Users can assign multiple UPCs to each item, including both long and short UPCs, or even an inventory UPC to simplify inventory counting with a scanner.

- UPC

Actions
There are 4 actions displayed in the UPC scoreboard. When a UPC is deleted, it enters a deleted status but remains visible on the scoreboard for historical reference. The Delete UPC action is then replaced with Restore UPC, granting users the ability to restore the UPC.

Delete UPC
The Delete action allows the user to quickly remove the UPC.
Restore UPC
The Restore action enables the user to recover a previously deleted UPC.
Set as Primary
The Set as Primary action enables the user to designate the UPC as the primary number.
Note: the action will immediately set the the UPC as the primary with no confirmation.
Print Label
The Print Label action allows users to print the retail label and includes a preview option before printing. Additionally, users can set a print default for the retail item label.
Price Change Scoreboard
Scoreboard Display
The Price Change scoreboard displays the number of scheduled price changes related to the item.

Price Change Filters
Use the dropdown to filter the Price Change window by Scheduled Prices, Current Prices, Historical Prices, and All Prices.
Adjust the filter to "All Prices" to see all prices associated with the item.

Schedule Pricing Change
The Schedule Pricing Change function is used for the user to schedule price changes associated to the item.
Steps to Schedule Price Changes
- Click the Schedule Pricing Change.
- Fill in the required fields: POS System, Unit, Sale Price, Effective Date and Category.

Note:
- The “Effective Date” is automatically selected as the next day.
- Clicking on "Category" allows the user to view outlets where they can set pricing rules. They can apply the price rule across all relevant outlets.

- Select SAVE NEW RULE.
- Once the process is completed, the user will receive a completion notification stating “New Price Rule successfully created”
NOTE: Users can schedule multiple price changes per unit across various categories (price levels in Infogenesis).

The Edit Pricing Rule action allows the user to modify the price rule for the selected line item.

The Add New SKU feature in the current pricing window resembles the SKU scoreboard. It is conveniently located here to expedite the process of adding a new SKU for the item.

Schedule Pricing Change
The Schedule Pricing Change feature in the current pricing window mirrors the Price Changes scoreboard. It is conveniently placed here to facilitate scheduling price adjustments for the item quickly.
Follow the steps in the Price Change Scoreboard - Schedule Pricing Change Tab if scheduling a price change.
NOTE: When scheduling a price adjustment, it’s crucial to consider the timing of any scheduled job runs to ensure a more effective and seamless price adjustment process.

The View All Details action enables the current pricing to expand, revealing more information related to the line item.
Schedule New Price Change
Similar to the "Schedule Pricing Change" feature mentioned above, the Schedule New Price Change Action is conveniently placed on each line item for easier access to complete the process.
Print Label
The Print Label action allows users to print the retail label and includes a preview option before printing. Additionally, users can set a print default for the retail item label.
Retail Insights
Filter by Data Type
Use the Data Type dropdown to filter by Total Amount Sold. Use the Apply Filter feature to apply the filters selected.

Filter by Period
Use the Period Filter dropdown to filter by This Week, This Month, This Quarter, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last 60 Days, Last 90 Days, or Last 365 Days. Use the Apply Filter feature to apply the filters selected.

Filter by Related Items
Use the Related Items filter dropdown to filter by Commodity, Brand, Collection, Color, Style, Parent Commodity or Manufacturer SKU. Use the Apply Filter feature to apply the filters selected.

Filter by Details
Use the Details filter dropdown to filter by This Item or Related Items. Use the Apply Filter feature to apply the filters selected.

Graph Filters
After selecting the "Apply Filter" button, users can filter the graph by the Current Period, Previous Period, and/or Average of Related Items.
Toggle Chart
Users have the option to select "Toggle Chart" to remove the graph and display only the chart information.

The Insights information bar includes:

NOTE: Insights data will appear once sales information for the item becomes available.

POS Systems

The POS system offers one available action: the override action.
If the user chooses the override action, they need to specify a pos export value before selecting the Update Action. Alternatively, they can opt for the cancel action if they decide not to override the attribute.

The POS Export Values can be modified by item by following the steps below.
- Navigate to Items, Item Editor page.
- Go to the Point of Sale Tab and select POS Systems.
- Locate the Attribute you want to override.
- Click the action icon on the line item.
- Update the export value as needed.
- Select the check to save your changes.
