Creating an Inventory Request (SR, RT, TR & DT)

Navigating to Create Inventory Request

1. Go to “Inventory” on the menu bar, then select “Request Inventory” and then “Create Inventory Request”.

 
 

 

Stock Request Header Maintenance

Adding Order Details

1. Inventory Request Type - from the “Document Type” drop down box, select from the following options:

  1. Stock Request - (SR) – To request items from warehouse
  2. Stock Return - (RT) – To return items back to the warehouse (for warehouse use only)
  3. Stock Transfer - (TR) – To transfer items from one warehouse to another warehouse (for warehouse use only)
  4. Department Transfer - (DT) - To transfer items from one department to another department. Both departments need to be aware of the transfer.

2. Required Date - The system automatically sets the date to today’s date; adjust it if needed.

3. Select the Departments - use the search icons to select the Charge To, Distribute From & Deliver To Departments.

4. Click New – This will give the request a document number.

 
 

Add Items to the Request

1. On the “Details” tab, click on “Items”. This will allow you to search and attach items to your order.

2. Search for and select the items you want to request by checking the corresponding checkboxes. You can navigate through multiple pages, selecting items before proceeding to the next step.

3. After you have selected all the items you need, click on “Enter Selected Lines”.

4. Key in the order quantity. Then select “Create Selected Lines”.

 
 

 

Process & Finalize

Updating & Finalizing

1. Click “Update”.

2. Select “Process and Finalize”.

3. Once you are in the “Process and Finalize” screen, you have the option of printing or emailing the request to yourself as well as to others.

4. To finish click on the “Complete and Submit” button.
