Sales by Outlet/Commodity: Understanding the Widget

The Sales by Outlet widget allows users to view a pie chart displaying the total sold, with the highest sales categorized by the number of departments selected, with all other sales categorized as "other".

In order to display data in the Sales by Outlet widget, users must utilize the retail calendar to select the specific month they wish to view data for. This ensures that the widget accurately reflects the sales per outlet for the selected timeframe.

The Sales by Outlet widget is unique in that it changes when the user selects a specific outlet. In this case, the widget switches to display Sales by Commodity specific to the chosen outlet.

Similar to the Sales by Outlet widget, the Sales by Commodity widget also utilizes the retail calendar in order to display data. Selecting the month first ensures that the widget accurately reflects the sales per commodity for the selected timeframe.
