Manage Recipes
Navigating to Manage Recipes
1. To access the Manage Recipes from any screen: Go to Recipes → Recipes → Manage Recipes.
2. The document level toolbar provides users with various tools related to the recipe.
New Recipe
Manage Recipes - New Option
Selecting "New" on the View Recipe Item List page directs users to the Recipe Detail page, where they can enter the required fields to create a new recipe.
View Recipes
Manage Recipes - View Option
To view a recipe, simply check the recipe and choose view.
View: allows the user to see the recipe without any editing capabilities. (Below is how the recipe appears when the user selects view)

Scaling a Recipe
Users can scale a recipe while in view mode whether in submenu Manage Recipes or Recipe Inquires.
Once in the desired recipe, in the ingredients tab above the recipe information on the ride side is a scale recipe section.
Enter the desired scaling factor and click "Scale Recipe." The number you input will adjust the recipe to that yield quantity. The video below demonstrates how to scale the Southwest Dressing Original 5 Gallon Recipe, using a scaling factor of 10 to produce a 10 Gallon yield.
Things to Note:
- Yield QTY: use the original recipe yield quantity to determine the scale recipe quantity.
- Ingredient quantities: ingredient quantities will adjust once the recipe is scaled.
- Total Cost: total cost of the recipe will adjust once the recipe is scaled.
Update Recipes
Manage Recipes - Update Option
To update a recipe, simply check the recipe and choose update.
Update: enables the user to make changes as needed. (Below is how the recipe appears when the user selects update)

- Once you have made the necessary changes, click on update.
Delete Lines
Manage Recipes - Delete Lines
Selecting a recipe and clicking “Delete Lines,” will prompt the system for confirmation before deleting the record.
Manage Recipes - Print
Selecting a recipe and clicking "Print" opens the chef's recipe print view. Users can also choose from four print options using the dropdown menu.
Print Options
Chef Book
The chef’s book printout can be used for prep and line cooks to view the recipe. (Does not include cost)

Recipe Book
The recipe book printout can be used to view the recipe along with cost information pertaining to the recipe.

Recipe Server Book
The recipe server book printout can be used for front of house members to view the recipe information.

Nutritional Label
The nutritional information tab must be filled out for users to print the nutritional label.
Property Association
Manage Recipes - Property Association
Property association will only allow users linked to the assigned property access the recipe.
Selecting a recipe and clicking "Property Association" opens a pop-up window where users can search for and select properties, completing the process of restricting access to the recipe to those specific properties.
