Process Stock Requests

Navigating to Stock Requests

1. Go to “Inventory” on the menu bar, then select “Request Processing” and then “Stock Requests”.

1. On the Stock Request: Process Open Documents, type the SR number of the document you want to process into the Search box. Then, press Enter on your keyboard or click the Search Button.

3 Ways to View the SR

Once you have located the SR in the system you have a few different ways to process the document.

1. Click on the checkbox next to the SR and select the Update Button.

2. Right mouse click on the SR and again select Update from the drop down Menu.

3. Double clicking on the SR.

1. On the Inventory Request Line Item Update page, adjust the quantities in the Issue Quantity column for the SR to match those provided to the Department. Note that quantities can only be decreased on an SR.

1. To delete a line on a SR, click on the checkbox next to the item and select the Delete Lines.

 
 

 

Closing Stock Requests

Closing the Stock Request

After making changes to the SR, you can choose one of the following options:

  • Close Request & B/O: This will close both the request and delete the backorders.
  • Close Request Keep B/O(s): This will close the request but leave the backorders open. You will need to revisit the SR to close the request once the quantities become available in the warehouse.

If you opt to keep the backorders open, remember to return to the SR and close the request once the quantities are available.
