Company Security Roles

Company Security Roles allows for restriction and access to View, Charge To, and Deny access to anything within the Company Structure. These are user-controlled roles and can be created as new roles or modified at any time.

 

Accessing Company Security Roles

1.1. Go to “Administration” on the menu bar, then select “Security” and then “Company Security Roles”.

1.2. On the View Roles page, Click “New”.

 
 

 

Role Details

Role Details: Code & Name

1.3. Give the Role a Code (Required) and Name (Required) that will assist in identifying the role to the User Security Admins.

1.4. Click “New” to create the company security role.

 
 

Role Details: Company Access

1.5. A Company Access section will show a listing of the Company Structure. Use the “+” button to drill down into a Property or Entity.

1.6. Right click over any Property, Entity, or Department to grant “Charge To” or “View” access.

1.7. Click “OK”.

 
 

Role Details: Granted Access

1.8. The section granted access will now show in Green.

 
 

Role Details: Restriction Options

1.9. You have 3 options for the restrictions:

  • Billable (Charge) (will be in Green)
  • Viewable (will be in Blue)
  • Denied (will be in Red)

1.10.Click “Update”.
